Workshop Facilitator
Job Summary
The Workshop Facilitator (WF) helps clients cultivate their job search and career building skills in a wide array of industries. The ideal candidate will inspire educate and support clients to achieve employment quickly. The WF provides complete training to help clients build their skills for employment searching and ensures learning outcomes are clear and achievable and clients have a defined benchmark for their learning progress. The WF will use techniques that are suitable for a variety of learning styles and the learning environment works effectively for clients of all skill education and experience levels.
What youll do
- Works collaboratively with the team to ensure clients are making progress and supporting clients with challenges by planning and brainstorming with team members during weekly team meeting
- Client survey/evaluation forms indicate that 80% of clients are satisfied or happy with workshops and materials
- 90% of the time workshops start on time and run expected duration as outlined in service plan
- Design and deliver engaging effective workshops that align with contract objectives and client employment goals
- Prepare and maintain highquality educational materials (e.g. module summaries videos and learning resources)
- Facilitate virtual and inperson workshops using varied instructional techniques to support diverse learning styles
- Monitor client participation document attendance and maintain accurate case management notes reports and evaluations
- Provide direct feedback to clients and staff regarding learning progress achievement and areas for improvement
Qualifications :
What you bring
- Two (2) or more years experience in workshop facilitation corporate training oremployment counselling/advising experience or a related field.
- Needs to be an experienced adult educator in an e-learning and in-office environments with deep subject-matter knowledge. Organizational skills and a positive attitude are important qualities for the Workshop Facilitator. Successful track record helping clients overcome challenges to employment.
- Direct experience leading groups of unemployed individuals and a strong understandingof the issues they face in seeking employment.
- Technologically proficient with presentation and office tools (e.g. PowerPoint Microsoft Office Suite Teams)
- Demonstrated ability to use technology to enhance learning and engagement.
