The LinkedIn Legal & Public Policy team is looking for an intellectually curious and enthusiastic lawyer to join our APAC Legal team in Singapore to partner with and support our APAC business to drive results and continued growth. You must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to lead commercial negotiations identify and resolve legal and business issues and earn the confidence and cooperation of your business partners.
Our team consists of legal professionals and paraprofessionals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets who set an extremely high bar for the provision of legal services. If you like driven funny and motivated people who do not take themselves too seriously you will fit in well with the team!

The work location of this role is hybrid meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by the business needs of the team.
This position is a 8-month maternity leave cover.
Responsibilities:
- Independently draft review and negotiate commercial agreements for LinkedIns businesses in line with company standards.
- Collaborate with LinkedIns Deal Desk Finance and other cross-functional teams on internal approvals to ensure sales transactions are closed on time and consistent with internal corporate policies and processes.
- Work with other LinkedIn lawyers and paraprofessionals to optimise support to the business.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- Education and professional qualifications to practise as a lawyer in a common law jurisdiction.
- A minimum of 3 PQE of related legal experience in commercial and/or technology transactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with technology or software companies or working with clients in such industries.
- A proven understanding of general commercial contracting and intellectual property law principles.
- Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with cogency and empathy.
- Familiarity with government contracts Singapore data protection law and other privacy regimes a plus.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple contemporaneous matters.
