About the Role:
Location: North Adelaide South Australia
Employment Type: Full-time
Overtime: Available
Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor and train apprentices and workshop staff
Communicate effectively with team members suppliers and customers
Operate CNC and manual machines in line with drawings and instructions
Accurately complete job cards and time records
Maintain tools gauges and measuring equipment in good condition
Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly
Assist with general maintenance and workshop duties as required
Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards
Work various shifts to meet operational needs
Support business growth through involvement in new projects and client solutions
Continually upskill and stay current with client and industry requirements
What You Need:
Trade Certificate in machining or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience with manual and CNC machining in a manufacturing environment
Ability to program and operate metalworking machinery
Strong understanding of steel grades and machining processes
Familiarity with lean manufacturing 5S and continuous improvement
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Forklift and loader licences or willingness to obtain
Physically fit and capable of hands-on work in a manufacturing environment
