CNC Machinist.

About the Role:

• Location: North Adelaide South Australia
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Overtime: Available
• Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and train apprentices and workshop staff
• Communicate effectively with team members suppliers and customers
• Operate CNC and manual machines in line with drawings and instructions
• Accurately complete job cards and time records
• Maintain tools gauges and measuring equipment in good condition
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly
• Assist with general maintenance and workshop duties as required
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards
• Work various shifts to meet operational needs
• Support business growth through involvement in new projects and client solutions
• Continually upskill and stay current with client and industry requirements

What You Need:

• Trade Certificate in machining or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience with manual and CNC machining in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to program and operate metalworking machinery
• Strong understanding of steel grades and machining processes
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing 5S and continuous improvement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Forklift and loader licences or willingness to obtain
• Physically fit and capable of hands-on work in a manufacturing environment
• Australian working rights
