Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degreefrom an accredited institution.
- Retired United States Army certified by the United States Army Cadet Command.
- Experienced JROTC instructor with successful record of program development and top-quality management of personnel and resources.
- Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree from an accredited institution.
Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy minimum qualifications.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; analytical organizational and prioritization skills; flexibility and adaptability in dealing with rapidly changing priorities and demands.
- Knowledge of pertinent regulations policies and procedures for the functional area of assignment.
- Knowledge of and experience using multiple project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Public Records Sunshine Law FERPA and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy public information and records retention.
- Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to deliver high-quality customer service in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to administer First Aid/CPR/AED as needed for illness injury or life-threatening emergencies per certification training guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate plan and supervise all District-wide JROTC activities and extracurricular events.
- Oversee the completion of all United States Army and District program requirements for JROTC including reporting resource allocation and management.
- Maintain and develop improvement plans for maximum cadet enrollment and attendance by administering an aggressive recruiting and community/District public relations campaign.
- Develop program activities which are supportive of District goals increased student achievement and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit train and retain top quality JROTC instructors in all high schools.
- Assist Lee County students in obtaining scholarships and academy appointments.
