Design Consultant (In-Home SalesInterior Design) California Closets

Position Summary

Our Design Consultants work directly with clients in their homes or in showrooms through pre-scheduled appointments. This is a consultative sales interior design role where you will create custom storage solutions and deliver a premium customer experience from concept to installation.

Key Responsibilities 

As a California Closets Design Consultant you will:

• Offer a luxury experience through product expertise and elevated service
• Provide in-home design consultations and space planning
• Design custom solutions using proprietary CAD software
• Work with interior designers decorators and builders
• Manage multiple client projects with strong attention to detail
• Travel daily to appointments in Oakland and Macomb Counties 

Qualifications :

Preferred Skills

• Experience in sales interior design home improvement home organization professional or related field
• Strong consultative sales and closing skills
• Ability to build rapport and develop relationships quickly
• Highly organized with excellent time management
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects

Requirements

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Tech savvy ability to learn proprietary CAD design software
• Laptop required
• Must be able to travel frequently to Oakland and Macomb Counties 
• Valid drivers license
• Full-time availability includes some evenings and weekends

Compensation

• Paid training
• Uncapped commission structure
• On-target earnings: $85000$120000
• Pre-set qualified appointments provided

Work Environment

• Field-based in-home sales role
