As a Security Officer Driver Field Patrol in Elkton MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine driving patrols and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to support daily operations through strong customer service communication and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universals agile reliable and innovative values with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas warehouse spaces parking areas shipping and receiving zones and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures and assist with traffic flow for deliveries contractors and employee movement.
• Support incident reporting and shift handoff communication by maintaining accurate logs noting maintenance or policy concerns and sharing relevant updates with the oncoming officer and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
