Whats the role
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced home lending professional looking to deepen their relationship management capability within the affluent and medical professions segment.
You will be accountable for growing a portfolio of affluent customers with a particular focus on medical professionals. You will deliver endtoend home lending and credit solutions that are aligned to customer needs policy and Westpacs risk appetite. Youll act as a key point of contact providing tailored lending o help grow and protect your customers wealth.
Working closely with a Relationship Manager and broader stakeholder group you will deliver strong customer outcomes while supporting sustainable portfolio growth. You will balance customer advocacy with sound credit judgement operating effectively in a highvolume fastpaced environment.
This role requires strong execution prioritisation and resilience with a clear focus on doing what is right for customers and the bank.
What do I need
- Experience in home lending and relationship management within affluent or professional customer segment
- Strong understanding of credit assessment with the ability to manage complex lending scenarios and self-employed.
- Proven capability to work under pressure in a highvolume performancedriven environment
- Demonstrated customer obsession with a track record of building trust and longterm relationships
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience supporting medical or professional customers (desirable)
- OBP skills and OVA accreditation (favourable)
- TLA knowledge (favourable)
- A strong commitment to risk management compliance and sustainable outcomes
