Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamicExecutive Chefto lead kitchen operations for our client in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all culinary activities ensuring exceptional food quality managing kitchen staff and driving innovation in menu development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations ensuring efficiency and high standards
- Design and develop innovative menus aligned with the concept and market trends
- Maintain consistency in food quality presentation and taste
- Manage food cost inventory and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with hygiene health and safety regulations
- Train mentor and supervise kitchen staff to maintain performance standards
- Oversee kitchen budgeting cost control and waste management
- Coordinate with management on special events promotions and seasonal menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant
- Strong expertise in international cuisines (multi-cuisine experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of kitchen management food costing and inventory control
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Strong creativity and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or relevant certification
- Experience in fine dining or pre-opening projects
- Knowledge of Arabic cuisine or regional dining trends is a plus
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required
- Arabic is an advantage
