Finance Accountant (Danish and English) Murcia (Spain)

At the moment as a recruitment consultancy we are looking on behalf of our client for a Danish and English-speaking Accountant for their offices in Murcia.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Bookkeeping and Accounting

• Daily posting of financial transactions in the accounting system (e.g. supplier and customer invoices)

• Bank account and petty cash bookkeeping and reconciliation with

• Month-end closing and preparation of financial data for management (at this moment this task not performed)

• Invoicing and follow-up on customer payments

• Recording and payment of supplier invoices

• Reconciliation of intercompany and internal accounts

Payroll and HR Administration Collecting and entering payroll data

• Reporting to tax authorities and holiday fund systems

• Maintaining employee information in the payroll system

• Handling reimbursements related to sick leave and parental leave

Administration and Support

• Responding to finance-related inquiries internally and externally

• Maintaining financial records and document archives (both digital and physical)

• Assisting in preparation of reports and budget follow-ups

• Liaising with external auditors for annual reporting

• Controlling the collection process improving DSO

Compliance annual report

• Booking compliance expenses in line with policy and controlling relevant approval

• Preparing compliance report.

REQUIREMENTS

• University degree or higher education in Finance Economics or Business Administration

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting and financial administration

• Residence in Murcia or willingness to relocate

• Advanced level of English and Danish
