Job Summary

Join our Digital Twins Service Line bridging Madrid and Switzerland to shape the future of powerline digitalization. As an expert in PLS-CADD and LiDAR data processing youll create and manage advanced models to support Swiss powerline operators in optimizing maintenance and operations.
What you will do:
Process and analyze LiDAR point cloud data for precise powerline modeling.
Generate PLS-CADD models aligned with design and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize modeling workflows using PLS-CADD and related software.
Export and manage models in formats like PLS-CADD IFC and GIS-compatible outputs.
Integrate structural and electrical attributes into powerline models for holistic digital representation.
Ensure compliance with utility standards and grid operator requirements.
Automate LiDAR data processing workflows for increased efficiency.
Conduct model-based analysis for load calculations clearances and vegetation encroachments.
What you bring & who you are:
Background in electrical civil or mechanical engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in digitalizing existing powerlines.
At least 5 years of expertise in PLS-CADD / TOWER / POLE for powerline design.
Solid understanding of LiDAR data processing including classification filtering and conversion for powerline applications.
Familiarity with open BIM data standards such as IFC and GIS formats.
Experience with BIM methodologies and working in CDE environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in Spanish; English and German is a plus.
Knowledge of BIM modeling software like Civil 3D and Revit is welcomed.
