Job Summary

About the Role
As Teacher of Biology you will teach across KS3KS5 (depending on experience and timetable) delivering ambitious lessons that develop deep biological understanding and confident exam technique. You will support pupils to:
Build secure knowledge across key Biology topics and core scientific thinking
Develop confidence with practical work and safe laboratory routines
Strengthen data handling evaluation and application of knowledge
Build strong written responses and scientific vocabulary
Prepare effectively for GCSE and A-Level through modelling practice and feedback
The Department
Science is a valued subject within the school with strong resources and a collaborative department culture. Biology is popular through to A-Level and pupils respond well to challenge and high expectations. Enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs trips or competitions may be available depending on the school.

Start Date: ASAP / next term (or by agreement)
Contract: Full-time permanent (or as agreed)
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience
What the School is Looking For
QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Strong subject knowledge in Biology (and confidence teaching general Science)
Ability to teach confidently across KS3KS4 (KS5 desirable)
