Description/Job Summary

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. or Noon - 8:00 p.m. overtime as needed.

Job Summary: Learn to operate and maintain transfer systems conveyors screening destoning scales and other equipment in the packing department. Assist with conducting monitoring and documenting activities of control points (magnets screens destoners) and critical control points (metal detection). Assist with pre-loading inspections of carriers (truck cars) to ensure clean and safe conditions for product loading-shipments. Also learn the procedures for documenting and maintaining inventory and sanitation records.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to read speak write and understand English.
• Must possess basic maintenance skills.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 30 feet.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
