Job Summary
Our Client is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and build modern scalable and high-performing web applications within a government environment. The role focuses on frontend development UI and UX and full lifecycle delivery using modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces
- Translate technical specifications into working tested applications
- Develop detailed programming specifications and write high-quality code
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and frontend components
- Conduct unit testing debugging and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and deployment stages
- Collaborate with cross functional teams across the SDLC in an Agile environment
- Participate in design sessions code reviews and technical documentation
- Support implementation deployment and post production issue resolution
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript

- Hands on experience building and testing RESTful APIs
- Expertise in HTML CSS JavaScript and modern CSS frameworks

- Working knowledge of Jamstack architecture

- Experience with headless CMS and frontend integrations

- Integration with authentication systems such as Azure AD B2C or Okta
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Strong experience across application design development testing and deployment
- Ability to work with databases and data driven applications
- Experience working with large scale enterprise systems
- Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast paced environments
- Experience working in OPS or public sector environments
- Knowledge of AODA accessibility standards
- Experience with RAD methodologies middleware and system integrations
