- Administer maintain and secure DB2 databases on AIX/UNIX/Linux platforms
- Implement and monitor DB2 licensing and passport advantage compliance
- Optimize database performance and execute regular tuning
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and maintenance
- Troubleshoot complex database and system issues to ensure uptime and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database design and integration
Required Skills and Experience
- 8 years experience with DB2 databases
- 8 years experience with DB2 licensing/passport advantage
- 2 years working on AIX UNIX or Linux platforms
- 2 years hands-on shell programming or scripting
Preferred Skills
- 5 years experience with DB2 on AIX
