Summary:

• Plan and perform structural analysis at the subcomponent level to ensure compliance with requirements.

• Develop solutions across a broad portfolio including resolving supplier-related issues.

• Review and approve analysis results.

• Guide and mentor less experienced engineers.

• Collaborate with team managers leads and cross-functional engineering groups.

• Work with project engineers stress teams suppliers and procurement to ensure analysis approval.

• Represent the team independently in supplier interactions.

• Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to meet program requirements.

• Develop and improve analytical processes to enhance quality and efficiency.

• Support design release processes tooling issues and supplier-driven changes.

• Interpret and apply industry and company standards and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Aerospace Mechanical Civil or Structural Engineering.

• 8 years of experience in structures and/or payload design engineering.

• 5 years of experience in a commercial aircraft environment.

• Experience with 2D/3D design and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

• Experience with design release processes policies and procedures.

• Experience handling tooling issues and supplier-driven changes.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
