JOB TITLE: Materials Handler
LOCATION: Mojave CA
PAY RATE: $28-30/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

• Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

Summary:

• Inspect incoming freight document damage and resolve freight claims.

• Perform inbound receiving and accurately enter deliveries into ERP systems.

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to stakeholders.

• Complete inventory transactions for receiving and issuing materials.

• Operate pallet jacks lift trucks and related equipment to move materials.

• Maintain FIFO and proper material identification.

• Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory accuracy.

• Issue materials to appropriate cost centers with proper authorization.

• Verify incoming documentation and certifications.

• Ensure timely delivery of stock and non-stock items.

• Collaborate with Procurement and Production Control teams.

• Support shipping receiving kitting and inventory process improvements.

• Deliver kits and materials to internal and external locations on time.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2 years of experience in a supply chain or materials environment.

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred).

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Experience with inventory systems (ERP; Oracle/Apriso preferred).

• Familiarity with freight carriers (FedEx UPS trucking companies).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and move materials up to 200 lbs with equipment.

• Valid drivers license required.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
