Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and manage quality assurance and quality control activities for roads and infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for ensuring all construction activities comply with project specifications quality standards and approved procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP)
- Lead QA/QC team and oversee all inspection and testing activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications QCS 2014 and relevant standards
- Review and approve method statements ITPs material submittals and technical documents
- Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings and quality procedures
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) corrective actions and close-out
- Coordinate with client consultants and contractors on all quality-related matters
- Oversee material inspections testing (soil concrete asphalt) and compliance
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits
- Ensure proper QA/QC documentation reporting and project handover records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in QA/QC for infrastructure projects
- Strong experience in roads highways drainage and utilities projects
- Proven experience as QA/QC Manager or similar leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of QA/QC procedures ITPs method statements and NCR management
- Familiarity with QCS 2014 / Ashghal requirements
- GCC experience required (Qatar preferred)
- Strong leadership coordination and communication skills
