Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a licensed School Psychologist to support a K12 school district in an itinerant role across multiple school sites. The ideal candidate will provide psychological services conduct assessments and support students with special education needs in a collaborative and student-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Interpret assessment results and assist with eligibility determinations
- Support development and implementation of IEPs
- Provide consultation to teachers administrators and parents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (SLPs OT/PT special educators)
- Assist with behavior intervention strategies and academic supports
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and school team discussions
- Support students academic behavioral and emotional development
- Travel between multiple school sites as required
Required Qualifications:
- Active Maryland School Psychologist license (must be in hand)
- Degree in School Psychology or related field (Ed.S. Psy.S. or higher preferred)
- Experience in K12 school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessments
- Experience with IEPs and special education compliance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations
