Job Description:
Job Title: Pharmacy Warehouse Senior Stock Controller
Location: Polar Speed UPS Site 1 Pharmacy Chartmoor Road Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire LU7 4WG
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities:
* Plan coordinate and manage the procurement of Pharmacy stock in line with both client and patient requirements.
* Monitor and manage stock levels ensuring required stock is available for outbound shipments.
* Accurate and efficient entry of inbound stock onto WMS.
* Ensuring accurate and efficient checking of inbound deliveries ensuring that any discrepancies are immediately reported to the supplier.
* Ensuring all stock is correctly located and stock rotation is maintained to minimise risk.
* Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date and stock analysis when required.
* Provide required information and documents to clients.
* Conduct regular reviews on standard operating procedures related to pharmacy stock control.
* Support continuous improvement through the training of employees.
* Processing of returns including quarantined damaged and batch recall.
* Effective communication of issues both internally and externally ensuring issues are escalated to Warehouse Operations and Pharmacy management teams when required.
* Ensure the highest level of hygiene is maintained throughout the warehouse in accordance with good distribution practice regulations.
Specialised Knowledge & Requirements:
* Good knowledge of the organisation and business area.
* Good working knowledge of IT packages: WMS systems Word Excel Power Point Internet/Intranet Polar Track and Sage 200c.
* Excellent working knowledge of good distribution practice and general Pharmaceutical Council.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Team player mentality with the ability to motivate and influence others.
* Good training skills as well as being a decision maker.
* Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise.
* Embraces excellent customer service.
* Appreciate the need for maintaining confidentiality.
* Build effective working relationships with clients colleagues and other departments across the network.
