Job Summary
Practice
We are a multi-doctor practice located in the heart of Oklahoma City. Our newly renovated hospital now houses 8 exam rooms and plenty of space to do multiple procedures at a time. We have a variety of skill levels in the practice that helps cultivate a very dynamic collaborative environment. Our primary focus is Small Animal Preventative Medicine but we do see a high volume of Internal Medicine cases.

Heartland Veterinary Partners Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them practice ready by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications
Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
Must be able to provide student PLIT
