SUMMARY
Administers professional and construction contracts to ensure all TUSD buildings are constructed safely and are functional. The Bond Department oversees the planning exectution and monitoring of bond-funded projects with a strong commitment to excellence accountability transparency customer service and collaboration. Reporting to the Bond Program Manager this position plays avital role in managing and overseeing projects from initiation through completiong. Responsibilities include tracking project progress developing and maintaining project documentation fostering consistent and effective stakeholder communication and leveraging date to support infromed decision-making.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in project management technology business administration or related field
AND
Two (2) years of experience managing projects and project teams in building construction renovations and construction management.
OR
Associates degree in project management technology business administration or related field
AND
Four (4) years of experience managing projects and project teamsin building construction renovations and construction management.
OR
Six (6) years of experience managing projects and project teamsin building construction renovations and construction management.
One (1) year of supervisory experience
Strong understanding of various project management methodologies.
Experience with project management software tools such as Smartsheet Microsoft Project or similar
Strong background in Microsoft Office solutions (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Access etc.)
Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
Excellent written oral and presentation skills including presenting reports charts and graphs in public presentations.
Skilled in facilitating and leading meetings.
Knowledge of OSHA State and City building and fire codes and regulations.
Proficient using word processing database spreadsheet programs and project software programs.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.
Must hold a current Arizona Drivers license and have accrued no more than the allowable points against Drivers License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Work Calendar: 12 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
