Schedule & Shift Details:
- Day Shift (Variable Schedule)
- 07:00 AM 07:00 PM
- 3 12-hour shifts per week
- On-Call Required (1 weekend per month shared rotation)
- Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week pay period (subject to call-off policy)
- Orientation: 40 hours (Non-billable)

Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced EEG Technologist to join a high-performing Neurodiagnostics team. The ideal candidate will perform EEG studies in both inpatient and outpatient settings while supporting continuous hospital coverage through an on-call rotation. This role requires strong technical expertise clinical judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine ambulatory and continuous EEG studies
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures including electrode application
- Monitor and accurately record brain activity during studies
- Identify and document abnormal waveforms and clinical events
- Ensure timely and accurate data collection for physician interpretation
- Support both inpatient units and outpatient/ambulatory settings
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent cases
- Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Document procedures accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with clinical and hospital standards
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of EEG experience required
- Active BLS certification required
- Active REEGT certification required
- Experience in inpatient neurodiagnostics preferred
- Experience with ambulatory EEG studies preferred
- Strong knowledge of EEG equipment and neurophysiology
- Ability to work in acute care environments
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
