Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities
- Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs); provide strategic guidance and support to the team to ensure all targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Regional Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer: Partner closely with the regional headquarters on new developments and initiatives; translate and filter complex technical or strategic knowledge into actionable insights for the local team.
- Pricing Strategy: Conduct rigorous competitive pricing analysis to deliver data-led price optimization and maintain market competitiveness.
- Inventory & Content Oversight: Maintain end-to-end oversight of inventory management and platform content listings ensuring high-quality presentation and continuous improvement of the user experience.
- Operational Leadership: Lead the commercial operations team in managing all aspects of trading duties focusing on streamlining workflows and increasing overall operational efficiency.
- Financial & Risk Governance: Work in tandem with the Finance department to monitor profit margins and resolve payment settlement issues.
- Compliance & SOP Development: Draft and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with legal and external parties to ensure compliance with new policies or Hong Kong statutory regulations.
- Process Automation: Design and build advanced tracking tools and dashboards to monitor special requests and simplify team workflows.
Qualifications :
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience ideally within the FMCG Retail or E-commerce sectors.
- Leadership: Proven track record in team management is highly preferred.
- Project Management: Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams prioritize tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Soft Skills: Highly adaptable to change and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Cultural Fit: A proactive contributor who is passionate about enhancing team performance and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Communication: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
- Technical Proficiency: Foundational knowledge in SQL or JavaScript. Foundational knowledge in data visualization tools such as Google Looker or Tableau.
