Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering high-quality technical documents and manuals for our products and services. You will work closely with subject matter experts and other team members to gather information and create clear concise and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research write and edit technical documents including user manuals installation guides and training materials

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical content

- Organize and present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner

- Create and maintain templates and style guides for technical documentation

- Review and revise existing documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy

- Conduct quality checks on all technical documents to ensure they meet company standards

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical documents

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Technical Writing English Communications or a related field

- 3 years of experience in technical writing preferably in the oil and gas industry

- Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills

- Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to explain them in simple terms

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

- Experience with document management systems and version control

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of HTML and XML is a plus
