The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is an essential part of the care team working closely with nurses and therapists to support patients throughout their care journey. This role offers valuable clinical exposure and is ideal for individuals exploring or beginning a long term career in nursing or healthcare.
What Youll Do
Assist nurses and therapists with direct and indirect patient care
Safely transport patients throughout the organization
Pick up and deliver x rays supplies scans mail and other materials
Support smooth and efficient patient flow within the clinic
Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
Help maintain a safe organized and patient centered care environment
Schedule Options
Multiple shifts available: Day Evening and Night
Compensation
Starting hourly rate: $18.55

1. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time direct patient experience; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience; or
4. Matriculation in a Nursing Program.
NOTE:
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school college or university or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
