Job Summary
Practice
In addition to the hospital and 3-stall barn we have a full-service mobile unit for house/farm calls.
Position Purpose
Come extern with us!
Western Trails Veterinary Hospital works to provide 3rd & 4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them practice ready by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications
Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
Must be able to provide student PLIT
