Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or members of the public by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Perform armed patrols throughout buildings entry points parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and screening areas verify credentials as required and report prohibited items access concerns and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with supervisors law enforcement and/or designated site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols and complete detailed activity incident and screening-related reports while maintaining professional interaction with the public and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
