Job Summary
As a Material Handler Level 2 here at Honeywell you will play a vital role in managing and moving materials efficiently within our operations to support production and distribution activities.
You will report directly to our Warehouse Supervisor and youll work out of our Houston TX location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role you will impact the smooth flow of materials ensuring timely availability and accuracy which is critical to maintaining our production schedules and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1st shift 7:00am 3:30pm Monday Friday
- Fulfills product orders by picking/packing product inputting inventory updates through the inventory system and shipping orders within the required timeframes.
- Receives incoming product from stores/other centers/vendors by matching product to invoices inputting product to the inventory system and conducting inventory and cycle counts as required.
- Operation shipping and receiving in SAP systems.
- Load and unloads materials from pallets by hand
- Basic skill in the use of shrink-wrap or strapping equipment manual dollies carts or hand trucks and hand tools used in material handling tasks such as hammers pliers strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment tape fasteners metal band sheers and related equipment.
- Reads work order to determine which materials are to be moved.
- Drive efficiency using state-of-the-art equipment including powered industrial Forklift vehicles and cherry pickers
YOU MUST HAVE
- Willingness to utilize or learn to utilize RF scanners and inventory management systems
- Maintains a strong quality focus by identifying defects and proactively initiating solutions to resolve issues.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills to maintain accurate records.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding safety standards
- Demonstrates a strong willingness to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment consistently meeting time-sensitive work requirements.
- Willingness to work Overtime and Weekend as needed.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Ability to stand walk and move around for extended periods of time during the workday.
- Ability to lift carry and maneuver up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
