Job Summary
Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Full-Time Dining Services Worker II to join our team! Full-time position available with a complete benefits package including Medical Dental Vision Paid Time Off 403B with company match and more. Hours are 11AM to 7:30PM.
- Performs food service tasks to prepare hot and cold food and beverage items for service during meals.
- Cross-trained in all front of the house areas including cash register salad station deli and grill stations.
- Stock the beverage area grab and go items service ware and condiments
- Prepare the dining room with all appropriate tableware and decoration for meal service.
- Assists with special functions/catering throughout the community as needed.
- Assist customers while in all dining/service areas.
- Previous cooking experience preferred 1-2 years
- Good working knowledge of food preparation
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Experience with cash handling operations and procedures
