Job Summary
The Bloomington ISD Federal Programs/Special Educaton Director will manage compliance budgeting and implemenation of federal grants including but not limited to Title I-IV ESSA and accordance with EDGAR. Responsibilities include managing budgets and providing leadership in the development and implementaion of instructional programs that improve student achievement. Special knowledge and skills required: deep knowledge of the Texas Legal Framework for Special Education; proficiency with TEA systems (TEAL eGrants TSDS/PEIMS); ability to interpret and implement complex federal and state policies; strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to manage budgets and meet strict state and federal deadlines.
