The Dishwasher / Busser is responsible for maintaining cleanliness sanitation and organization of the kitchen dish area restaurant and service areas while supporting the front and back of house teams. This role helps ensure guests receive prompt clean and professional service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Essential Job Duties

Dishwasher Responsibilities

• Wash dishes glassware flatware pots pans and kitchen utensils promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dish room sinks floors and surrounding work areas.
• Properly store clean dishes and equipment in designated areas.
• Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and restaurant areas as needed.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and maintaining overall kitchen organization.
• Follow all health department sanitation and safety standards.

Busser Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly and professionally.
• Assist servers by refilling water delivering items and supporting guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room patio rooftop bar and service stations.
• Sweep mop and keep floors clean throughout shift.
• Stock supplies such as napkins silverware cups and condiments.
• Assist with opening and closing side work duties.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to stand bend lift and move throughout shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.

Schedule Requirements

• Must be available nights weekends and holidays as business demands require.
• Flexible scheduling preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Frequent walking bending lifting reaching and carrying trays or dish racks.
• Exposure to wet floors cleaning chemicals and hot kitchen environments.
