As Second in Charge of PE support the Head of Department in leading a dynamic PE team
Deliver outstanding PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 as a Second in Charge of PE
Lead on key areas such as curriculum development assessment or extra-curricular sport
Drive participation and promote an inclusive sporting culture across the school
Support GCSE PE delivery outcomes and intervention strategies
Play a key role in organising fixtures clubs and enrichment opportunities
Act as a role model practitioner and mentor colleagues as Second in Charge of PE
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher with strong PE subject knowledge
Experience teaching secondary PE and contributing to whole-school sport
Passionate about progression and ready to step into a Second in Charge of PE role
