Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our this role you will be responsible for:
- Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design test checkout modification fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment
- Applications may include analog digital and/or video circuits logic systems and packaging.
- Work from schematics diagrams written and verbal descriptions layouts or defined plans to perform testing checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
- Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
- Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- High School diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older
- 3 years of experience as Technician
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
- Demonstrated interpersonal analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills
