To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Sr Facilities Engineer located in Memphis TN.
Reporting to the Sr Facilities & MRO Manager the Sr Facilities Engineer applies engineering values to design modify or develop facilities testing machines equipment or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.
What a typical day looks like:
- Research facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
- Research engineering proposals process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design.
- Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs available space time limitations company planning and other technical and economic factors.
- Provides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques materials properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning.
- Compiles and research facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
- Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry.
- Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Guides projects and project teams.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- 6 years of related experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Matter Expertise in one or more of the following areas: clean rooms Walk-in Coolers & Freezers RO/DI Water systems Waste Neutralization Compressed gas distribution systems vacuum systems Process chillers and non-clean utilities.
- Manufacturing plant construction in a cGMP industry.
- Facilities Engineering construction activity at MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Process) discipline.
- Fault/Root Cause Analysis and Review (FRACAS).
- Utilities (steam cooling media heating media water systems compressed air).
