Job Summary
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Vestal NY 13850
Shift: Evening Shift (2:00 PM 10:30 PM)
Alternate Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (06:30 AM 11:45 PM)
- Evening Shift: 2:30 PM 11:45 PM (every other weekend required)
Duration: 16 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a well-established long-term care and rehabilitation facility. The ideal candidate will have experience providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment including medication administration and supporting patients with cognitive conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications accurately (Med Pass)
- Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Assist patients with Alzheimers and Dementia conditions
- Monitor patient health and report changes to the care team
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare standards
Facility Details:
- 300-bed long-term care and rehabilitation center
- Focus on elderly and memory care patient populations
Requirements:
- Active New York (NY) LPN License (required to submit)
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred (flexible on duration)
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates only
- BLS Certification required
- COVID-19 vaccination required
