• Monday: 8:30 AM 8:30 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM 8:30 PM
• Wednesday: 8:30 AM 2:00 PM

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in a dynamic clinical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise a commitment to patient safety and the ability to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders
• Prepare position and instruct patients to ensure accurate imaging and comfort
• Operate radiologic equipment and adjust technical factors for optimal image quality
• Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients staff and self
• Follow infection control policies and maintain a sterile environment
• Evaluate images for quality and repeat procedures when necessary
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
• Monitor radiology equipment performance and report malfunctions
• Maintain inventory of imaging supplies and ensure proper stock levels
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain required certifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Strong understanding of radiographic procedures and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team setting
