Who we are looking for
Caterpillar is a global leader in the manufacturing of machines and solutions for the industrial construction and energy sectors. At our Minerbio (BO) plant we work every day with passion expertise and a strong focus on quality valuing the contribution of every individual.
For our European Earthmoving Procurement Team Caterpillar Prodotti Stradali is looking for an Associate Procurement Quality Analyst who is eager to grow within a structured and international industrial environment.

Requirements
Degree in a STEM field preferably in Mechanical Electrical Electronic or Management Engineering
At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
Good command of the English language which will be used daily
Interest in quality supply chain and procurement
Your skill set should include accuracy collaboration problem-solving skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.

What will you do
Your goal will be to contribute to the resolution of quality issues and related processes for the Supply function within the manufacturing facility.
You will join the Earthmoving Procurement team consisting of 8 people and report to the Facility Manager. Specifically you will be responsible for:
Participating in meetings with the Operations team to review potential supplier quality defects and managing non-conformance resolution with suppliers.
Identifying quality issues and defining short-term action plans in collaboration with plant management and suppliers.
Managing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) recovery.
Collaborating with the Operations team site procurement and corporate teams to provide conclusions and recommendations for quality issue management and continuous improvement projects.
Participating in supplier quality improvement initiatives and working with suppliers to develop and enhance quality levels.
Ensuring supplier reliability and quality through the implementation of process controls certification programs evaluations inspections corrective actions audits and related documentation.
