Job Summary
The Keno Writer is responsible for ensuring that players receive the highest level of service by calling out games and paying out players accurately. The Keno Writer is instrumental in the smooth operation of the game.
Responsibilities
Accept ticket from customer and accurately enter numbers in machine to generate computer ticket
Accept monies from players and make appropriate change
Pay out monies to winners
Call games over the microphone
Maintain cleanliness of Keno Lounge and restock supplies i.e. tickets pens etc.
Qualifications
Work requires effective communication in English both verbal and written form in a professional manner
Must present a neat and professional appearance
Work requires a minimum age of 21
Work requires ability to perform basic math functions
Work requires flexibility to work various shifts
Work prefers 1 year Keno experience
Work requires basic computer knowledge
Cards Needed: Gaming NV
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Fast-paced environment multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.
- Must be able to tolerate second hand smoke.
- Must be able to handle a heavy business volume and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems in a timely manner.
- Must be able sit and standfor long periods of time
