Special Event Security Guard position with GDI Security

GDI Security Services Inc. has openings for Special Event Security Guard positions for the upcoming Harley and Atlantic Bike Weeks in May (May 8th -17th and May 21st - 25th) at Kingston Plantation Myrtle Beach SC and Beach Cove Resort North Myrtle Beach SC. We are currently hiring for 1st 2nd and 3rd shift. Once the events are over and if you want to stay on with us we can relocate you to one of our permenant locations. Join one of the premiere Security Companies in the Country! For this position you will be alternating each hour during the Shift between working the Gatehouse and patrolling the Property ensuring everyone is safe and all of the Resort/HOA rules are being upheld and respected.

Pay: $15.00 an Hour / Weekly Pay!!!

Hours: Kingston (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) Beach Cove Resort (7am - 3pm / 3pm - 11pm / 11pm - 7am)

Responsibilites:

• Monitor the premises to avoid theft violence and any infractions of HOA rules while patrolling the Property in the patrol vehicle
• review reports and communicate effectively
• Monitor traffic as it enters Property via the Gatehouse
• write down and make Guest passes as Guests enter Property via Gatehouse
• write down critical information called in by other Security Guards while working at the Gatehouse
• work as part of a team (3 Guards are on duty every shift)
• report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking pipes
• request emergency personnel for high risk situations
• warn violators of premises rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Security Law Enforcement Military and/or other related fields is preffered
• Ability to handle a light physical work load. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols
• Strong attention to detail
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards
• Have reliable means of transportation
• Ability to talk/communicate with people under high stress situations
