Tax Accountant

• Monitoring of tax-related accounts on the balance sheet and income statement as needed.
• Monthly calculation of current and deferred income tax (IT) and employee profit-sharing (PTU) provisions (quarterly) as well as preparation of the annual report for Corporate.
• Calculation and filing of monthly provisional and final income tax (IT) and value-added tax (VAT) returns and their respective withholdings as well as scheduled state taxes.
• Preparation of quarterly forecasts for estimated tax payments to be made during the year.
• Calculation of CUCA and CUFIN for the Annual Tax Return.
• Review of withholding tax for employees.
• Preparation of information for the D-3 actuarial calculation and supervision of the reports completion.
• Preparation of information for the transfer pricing study and timely completion of the same.
• Monthly reconciliation of tax accounts.
• Handling various types of audits: financial corporate etc.
• Overseeing compliance with tax obligations according to deadlines set by the authorities.
• Submission of information to INEGI (monthly and annual).
• Ministry of Economy (quarterly and annual).
• Submission of Electronic Accounting (monthly).
• Registration of SAT codes in the SAP system for use in company invoicing.
• Special duties: support for projects involving tax-related matters.
• Support for annual physical inventory of materials.
• Support for various departments regarding accounting information and reports.
• Support for using the Concur portal to properly verify travel expenses.
• Monitoring of the REPSE platform.
• Preparation of CFDI for VAT withholdings arising from payments to foreign suppliers (monthly).

• Bachelors degree in Public Accounting Financial Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a General Accountant in a similar tax-related position.
• Experience using SAP as an ERP system (a plus).
• Experience in the automotive industry.
