Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: St. Albans VT 05478
Duration: 17 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians focusing on delivering essential nursing care ensuring patient comfort and supporting routine clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver basic nursing care and monitor patient conditions
- Assist patients with daily living activities and ensure comfort
- Record vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications as directed by physicians or RNs
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Support clinical staff during patient care activities
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare staff
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an LPN
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Vermont (VT) LPN License or Multistate License (required at submission)
- BLS Certification (AHA required)
