Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic equipment to support accurate medical diagnosis. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging patient safety and compliance with all regulatory standards while working across orthopedic and spine clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures ensuring comfort and cooperation
Operate X-ray and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Apply radiation safety protocols to protect patients staff and self
Follow infection control policies and clinical safety standards
Review images for quality and make adjustments as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in patient and departmental records (including exam verification)
Perform routine equipment checks troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance when needed
Monitor and manage radiology supplies and inventory
Support compliance with continuing education and regulatory requirements
Maintain a clean safe and organized imaging environment
Collaborate with clinical teams and contribute to overall workflow efficiency
Float between orthopedic and spine clinic locations as required
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT)
ARRT Certification (required)
Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Competency in maintaining safety and quality standards
