Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic equipment to support accurate medical diagnosis. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging patient safety and compliance with all regulatory standards while working across orthopedic and spine clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures ensuring comfort and cooperation
- Operate X-ray and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Apply radiation safety protocols to protect patients staff and self
- Follow infection control policies and clinical safety standards
- Review images for quality and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient and departmental records (including exam verification)
- Perform routine equipment checks troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance when needed
- Monitor and manage radiology supplies and inventory
- Support compliance with continuing education and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a clean safe and organized imaging environment
- Collaborate with clinical teams and contribute to overall workflow efficiency
- Float between orthopedic and spine clinic locations as required
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT)
- ARRT Certification (required)
- Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Competency in maintaining safety and quality standards
