Job Summary
What youll do
Data Governance at Doctolib ensures that the data powering our healthcare decisions across 900000 professionals and 90M patients is discoverable reliable and governed by design. As Doctolib builds Europes reference platform for healthcare AI governance isnt a compliance checkbox: its the transversal foundation that makes trustworthy analytics and AI possible at scale.
Youll join the Data Governance team reporting to the Data Governance Lead and contribute to two interconnected streams with AI & Automation as the driving force and the Data Catalog as its primary application ground. You wont be navigating this alone: Diana (Data Governance Lead) and Zahra (Data Governance Engineer) will be your day-to-day partners.
1. Scale Data Governance with AI
Your goal: make governance measurable gamified and increasingly AI-driven using engineering-grade tools (Python Dagster GitHub Actions) to build automations that scale so data owners across every function stay engaged with standards and Doctolibs data stays high-value and well-protected.
- Contribute to AI-assisted governance workflows : from building an automated audit agent (e.g. via Claude Code) to auto-tag data assets to leveraging tools like NotebookLM to generate one-pagers and videos that make governance policies land with any stakeholder
- Own Data Governance KPIs and dashboards (Metabase) to drive gamified governance: track policy adoption quantify the teams impact and keep the metrics that incentivize data owners and influence governance standards company-wide.
- Simplify complexity every day by supporting cross-functional stakeholders on Data Governance topics communicating policies and best practices across the organization and delivering impactful internal presentations
2. Drive Doctolibs data catalog product management
Your goal: any Doctoliber from Sales to Finance to Tech & Product can find the right data asset in under 2 minutes with full confidence.
- Maintain the catalog as a real-time end-to-end reflection of our data value chain: from production sources (Doctolib products Salesforce Zuora) to consumption in AI and analytics tools (Tableau Metabase) in close collaboration with the Data Governance Engineer and catalog vendor.
- Run frequent user research and analyze usage metrics to prioritize the catalog roadmap and backlog
- Drive catalog integration into Doctolib AI tools and promote adoption across all personas success target: 200 Monthly Active Users with AI tool integrations via Catalog MCP as the primary adoption lever
