Overview:
Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiological Technologist to join our team. This leadership role is essential in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting and guiding a team of technologists in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Main Function:
Under the supervision of a Radiologist the Radiological Technologist performs a variety of technical and professional procedures in the application of prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis and therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols
Ensure quality control and optimal patient care
Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support clinical excellence
Education & Certification:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Connecticut State License required
Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience:
One (1) year clinical experience as a staff radiographer. Will train new graduate of a JRCERT approved program for Diagnostic Radiology.
