Location: London

Our client is a well-established commercial security systems integrator delivering large-scale technically complex projects across the UK and internationally. Theyre looking for an experienced Project Engineer Security Systems Specialist to join their London-based team. Position Overview
Youll support the delivery of complex security projects from installation through to commissioning acting as the technical lead on site. Working closely with project managers engineers and subcontractors youll oversee system setup programming and integration while ensuring all work meets NSI standards and industry compliance. Your role is crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time to specification and to the highest technical standard directly impacting client satisfaction and project success.
Responsibilities
Support project managers with day-to-day onsite delivery and coordinate engineers and subcontractors
Lead technical delivery across installation and commissioning phases of security projects
Oversee system setup programming and integration of security systems
Carry out testing fault finding and final commissioning of systems
Complete project documentation commissioning sheets and reports accurately
Liaise with clients and stakeholders providing technical updates and guidance
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Support and mentor junior engineers developing their technical capabilities
Requirements
Minimum 4 years experience within the security systems industry
Proven experience in a Project Engineer or Senior Engineer role
Strong understanding of system integration and large-scale project delivery
Working knowledge of NSI standards and compliance requirements
Good knowledge of networking TCP/IP routing and switching
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong problem-solving ability and proactive approach to challenges
Full UK driving licence
Experience with leading platforms such as Genetec Lenel Gallagher or Paxton (highly advantageous)
