Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks (4 weekends preferred)
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (must reside outside a 50-mile radius)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an acute care team. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders across various hospital units including ICU and neurological care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders
• Provide therapy for patients with conditions such as stroke neurological disorders dysphagia and respiratory compromise
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and therapeutic interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Active Georgia SLP License
• CCC-SLP certification
• AHA BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in acute care settings
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) and/or Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
