Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) 5x8s 40 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Required
On-Call: Not required Float as needed

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support Registered Nurses in delivering safe efficient and high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. The role includes direct patient care clinical support tasks and assistance with basic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient admission assessment and procedures
• Perform phlebotomy (venous and capillary blood collection) using aseptic technique
• Conduct EKGs as directed
• Monitor and document vital signs intake/output and daily weights
• Perform glucose monitoring and specimen collection
• Provide hygiene care including bathing toileting oral care and bed making
• Assist with feeding and meal preparation
• Transport patients between hospital departments
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient rooms and equipment
• Respond to call lights and report changes in patient condition to RN
• Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Completion of Patient Care Technician Program (Required)
• BLS Certification (AHA) (Required)
• EKG Certification (Required)
• Phlebotomy Certification (Required)
• Epic EMR experience preferred (training provided if needed)
• Ability to work scheduled shifts weekends and holidays as required
