Summary of Job Duties:
The Department of Information Systems within the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas invites applicants to apply for the position of non-tenure track Instructor to begin August 10 2026. This position will teach eight three-hour courses per academic year within Information Systems (e.g. Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Cloud Computing ERP Database and/or Business Analytics with a mix of face-to-face and online courses as needed) and participate in curriculum (re)design. Regular on-campus availability in-person teaching and active contribution to the life of the department including exhibiting respect and cooperation in shared academic and administrative tasks are essential duties.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Completed a Masters degree in Information Systems business analytics or a closely related field prior to the position start date from a nationally or internationally accredited university
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated excellence in teaching courses in information systems analytics or a related area
Professional experience in information systems or related field (to include marketing experience and leadership experience); as well as the ability to work with graduate students
Documented excellence in teaching graduate level courses
Documented experience in both face-to-face and blended/online course delivery
Documented experience and expertise in teaching courses focused on cloud computing cybersecurity database/data warehouse/big data enterprise resource planning or analytics.
