Job Summary
As an Experienced Technical Writer at Honeywell you will be responsible for creating editing and publishing product cut-sheets brochures technical and operational manuals. You will ensure that all literature complies with relevant regulatory requirements and standards. Additionally this role involves supporting regulatory project management and conducting research to maintain up-to-date compliance across all documentation.
You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Supervisor and youll work out of our Muncie IN location with an On-site work schedule.
In this role you will contribute to the clarity accuracy and compliance of Honeywells product literature supporting both customer understanding and regulatory adherence while driving regulatory projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create edit and publish product cut-sheets brochures technical manuals and operation manuals.
- Ensure all documentation complies with applicable regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
- Review product certificates and reports to ensure data clarity and accuracy.
- Support regulatory project management activities including planning tracking and reporting.
- Conduct research on regulatory requirements and industry standards to maintain compliance across documentation.
- Identify find and utilize AI-driven language translation software solutions to enable collaborative updates and enhance documentation accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering marketing quality and regulatory affairs to gather accurate information and ensure documentation quality and compliance.
- Maintain and update existing literature to reflect product updates regulatory changes and improvements.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics communications or related field.
- Proven experience creating editing and publishing technical and marketing literature including manuals brochures and cut-sheets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to product documentation.
- Experience supporting or managing regulatory projects and conducting compliance research.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather and verify technical and regulatory information.
- Experience with documentation and publishing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Dreamweaver MadCap Flare or similar software.
