As a manufacturing Operative you will play a crucial role in the smooth operations of the companys warehouse and distribution center. Your primary responsibilities will include handling moving and organizing goods ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Overview
Job title- Chemical Plant Operator
Pay per hour- 17.50 - 18.00
Hours- 8 hour shifts between 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.
Location- Jamestown road Dublin 11. Serviced by 40E bus route from Dublin or Finglas.
Contract- Permanent employed directly with company
Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders ensuring items are properly labeled and packaged for distribution.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records performing regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed to move goods within the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and report any defects or irregularities to supervisors.
- Organizational Support: Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by arranging stock maintaining aisle clearances and adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following best practices for warehouse operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow effective communication and successful task completion.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist in various tasks as required including assisting with special projects participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a manufacturing Operative or in a similar role within the pharma or chemical sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Counterbalance forklift licence is require for this role
- Manual handling certificate is required for this role.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and orders.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Reliable transportation to the North Dublin location.
